Place a Nest temperature sensor in a different room to prioritise its temperature at different times of day. For example warm the bedroom in the evening and the living room in the morning.
Nest Stand

Common questions about Nest smart thermostat installation
How does Nest learn my routine?
For the first week after installation Nest observes when you turn the temperature up and down. It learns your pattern and builds a schedule automatically. It also senses when you are away using motion detection and your phone location.
Does Nest require a subscription?
No. Nest does not require a monthly subscription. All features including learning, scheduling, away mode and app control are free. You only pay for the hardware and installation.
Can Nest control hot water too?
The Nest Learning Thermostat can control hot water on system boilers with a hot water cylinder. You can boost the hot water from the thermostat or the app. Nest Thermostat E controls heating only.
What is the Nest Leaf and how does it save energy?
The Nest Leaf appears on the display when you choose an energy saving temperature. Adjusting the temperature by just one or two degrees lower earns a Leaf. Over time Nest learns energy saving temperatures that still keep you comfortable.
Can I control Nest with my voice?
Yes. Nest works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. You can say 'Hey Google, set the temperature to 21 degrees' or 'Alexa, turn up the heating'. Voice control is set up through the Google Home app.
How long does Nest installation take?
A standard Nest installation takes about one to two hours. This includes fitting the Heat Link, mounting the thermostat, connecting to Wi-Fi and setting up the app with you. More complex systems with hot water control may take slightly longer.
