How long does washing machine installation take?
A standard freestanding washing machine swap takes thirty to forty five minutes. An integrated machine takes up to an hour because of the door panel fitting and alignment.
Why do transit bolts need removing?
Transit bolts hold the drum in place during transport. If the machine runs with them still in, it will shake violently and can permanently damage the drum, bearings and suspension. We always remove them.
What if I have no plumbing for a washing machine?
We can install a washing machine valve on the cold supply and run a waste hose to a standpipe or sink trap. We carry common plumbing fittings and can set up new connections on the spot.
Can you install a washing machine in a kitchen?
Yes. Most washing machines are in kitchens. We connect the cold supply to the pipework under the sink and run the waste hose to the sink trap or a standpipe. We do this alongside dishwasher installations as well.
Will you level the machine?
Yes. We level every washing machine using its adjustable feet. An unlevel machine vibrates, is noisy and can walk across the floor. We check it is stable before we finish.
